PrimaGIS (version 0.5.1) requires the following main components which might have additional dependencies of their own. See the installation instructions for your platform for details.

Mapserver

• Required version: >= 4.4  (4.6.x and 4.8.x works well also). 4.8 series recommended.
  
• Mapserver is able to use many different libraries to include support for optional features. Please refer to the installation instructions for detailed information about which libraries you need.
  

Python Cartographic Library (PCL)

• Required version: 0.10.0
  

Cartographic Objects for Zope (ZCO)

• Required version: 0.7.1
  

Zope

• Required version: >= 2.7.5
• Tested with Zope 2.7.8 and Zope 2.8.5.
  

Plone

• Required version: >= 2.0.5
• Tested with Plone 2.0.5 and Plone 2.1.2.
  

Archetypes

• Required version: >= 1.3.2-final

simplejson

• Required version: >= 1.1
• You can use setuptools to install simplejson by running:
  

  $ easy_install simplejson
  

ATReferenceBrowserWidget

• Optional. GeoArchetypesProxy can take advantage of ATReferenceBrowserWidget (as of version 0.3.0) for selecting the subjects for the proxy. The default ReferenceWidget will be used as a fallback, if you don't have ATReferenceBrowserWidget installed.
